Vistors in Seoul

Friday - Sunday, October 26 - 28, 2012

Jonelle, Song and their boyfriends vacationed in Korea so I met up with them to show them around.
I took the bus from Jinju to Seoul for 3.5 hours to meet up with them. It cost me 19,400 won to get there. We stayed at Ann Guesthouse in Hongdae.

On Saturday, we went to Itaewon so I could get a massage at Healing Hands. It was kinda expensive but the staff spoke English and it was a very nice one hour massage that was much needed. A full body massage cost me 70,000 won. Then we went to Namdaemun Market. We didn't really buy anything from there because it was raining ridiculously. After I took them to Ehwa University area to eat at BAB. They have scrumptious side dishes as well as their main dishes also. We also toured the University campus and they took a lot of couple photos. Later that evening, we went to Dongdaemun where they were overwhelm with the amount of stores and clothes. Why does Asia have so much of the same crap at different stores with different prices? Later that night we had chimaeg (chicken and beer) at the guesthouse and knocked out.

On Sunday, we started our day in Myeongdong where shopping was easier at Uniqlo and other brand name stores and eating street food.  Then we spent most of our day at Building 63 where we visited the aquarium, wax museum and art observatory to look at the beautiful night view of Seoul. Then it was back to Jinju.
