Hanbok day!

Today was an eventful day. At work, we are doing different things everyday to celebrate Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving) In the morning we played traditional games. I could tell you the different traditional games we played but that would take too long. All the students came to school wearing their hanbok (traditional Korean clothing) They were sooo cute. The teachers had to wear them too. We all suffered in the hot sun. Here are pictures to prove it.

This is a line of naughty 6 years waiting to throw the arrow in a wooden hole

My cute Jessica playing well

they were faking to be tired as I was actually tired

Aren't they cute in their Hanbok?

You throw this up into the air and something happens

Fighting or actually it's  bullying...

My first time wearing traditional Korean clothing
After the games, we ate lunch and I taught 2 classes to 5 years. We made clown masks because they are learning about the circus. They acted like wild animals in the jungle and I felt like I wanted to hit some of them. The best thing about working in Korea is that you can slap their bottoms or hands or be rough with them and it's ok. Well...at least I think it's ok. I haven't gotten scolded yet for doing that. Sometimes I swear under my breath or a little louder when kids drive me crazy and the best thing is that they don't understand. HAHA.

Anyways, on Thursday, Sara (Korean friend) comes to my house and I talk to her in English and she helps me with my Korean. I can actually read some Korean now and tonight we went over the lyrics of 2am "Never let you go" It was my second time meeting with her and it was less awkward than the first time. It was still kinda awkward though. I ended up showing her pictures of most of my ex-bf. HAHA! We also ordered chicken to eat for dinner.

Ruby came over later after work and ate the left over chicken. Then Sara and her sister came back over to my house cuz they wanted to hang out. They bought beer and dried octopus to celebrate my bday. I thought that was really nice of them to do that. We had some cool conversations especially about massaging breasts to make it bigger. And now I'm finishing up Ruby's beer that she was nursing by myself.

Mini celebration!
