What a waste of a Saturday

I started off my Saturday pretty early. I woke up at 6:15 AM because I had a seminar to go to for work to learn about the curriculum. My Korean co-teacher called a taxi for me to meet at Jinju's City Hall. We met there and caught another taxi to meet a parking lot to wait for our school's van to pick us to go to Daejeon, where the seminar was. It was a 2 hour ride. I met a foreigner from South Africa that uses the same curriculum as us at her school. We talked for a bit. 1 hour later, I knocked out.
We got to the seminar at about 9:45ish and it was pretty much pointless and boring. It was like a regular workshop that I would attend as a teacher back at home. Teachers would not listen to speaker, make snide comments, pretend like they are participating in discussion and doodle on their notebook. I totally did that. There was a time in our meeting where all the foreign teachers get together and talk about the curriculum and complain. I WAS THE ONLY ASIAN IN THAT GROUP T.T Everyone else was haole looking. I sat next to some fat guy who's been in Korea for 3 years. I think he was gay. I wish I could make these comments to the Korean teachers I work with or just makes comments about people and other sarcastic comments about what I observe. But, I have to hold my breath because I don't want to offend anyone. My friends would have totally accepted my comments back at home. Hell, we would exchange the comments together. HAHA. Anyways, it took the whole day. They went half an hour over lunch time and I was really frustrated at the end because the speaker only spoke in Korean for half an hour. And it was so boring that a Korean teacher fell asleep. The only good thing was that they gave us a bag of snacks.

We didn't get back to Jinju until 7:30 pm ish. The driver was such an asshole. Some times he would drive really slow and didn't change lanes. I was the last one to be dropped off and was kinda scared that he would rape me since I saw a scenario like that in a drama I was watching. Anyways, I went to Ruby's house after and had some beers with Tony, Ruby's piano teacher, piano teacher's sister and cousin. We had good times. We gave the Koreans English names and in return they gave me and Tony Korean names. For my male readers. Here's my first Korean Cutie of the week not Hottie since there's really no hotties in Korean. Koreans are more cute. She's the girl in the black and white stripes. She may not look that cute in this picture but she's really pretty especially when she smiles. I'm sure there will be other opportunities to take pictures of her since we're going to a baseball game together next week. The highlight of the night was when Tony spilled red wine on cutie's white pants. At first she sighed, then she was disappointed, and finally got angry. Haha. Let's meet them using their English names and our Korean names. Ruby doesn't want people to know her Korean name.
